Terms of Service
Effective Date: October 17, 2026 ยท Last Updated: October 17, 2026
1. Acceptance of Terms
By accessing or using Twosome Chat (including twosomechat.online and app.twosomechat.online), you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service. If you do not agree to all terms herein, you must immediately discontinue use of the service.
2. Nature of the Service
Twosome Chat provides an isolated, client-side encrypted communication software that facilitates text messaging, view-once ephemeral photo sharing, and peer-to-peer WebRTC audio and video calling strictly between two individuals per room.
Because encryption keys are generated and stored exclusively on your device, we do not operate automated content moderation bots, algorithmic filters, or server-side message inspection systems.
3. User Responsibilities & Acceptable Use
You agree not to use Twosome Chat to:
- Engage in any unlawful, harmful, threatening, abusive, harassing, or tortious conduct.
- Transmit any material that contains software viruses, Trojan horses, or malicious code designed to disrupt client devices.
- Attempt to compromise, reverse-engineer the underlying protocols for malicious exploitation, or launch denial-of-service attacks against our relay servers.
- Distribute illegal media, non-consensual imagery, or violate the intellectual property or personal rights of another individual.
4. Cryptographic Keys and Device Security
You are solely responsible for maintaining the physical and digital security of the device you use to access Twosome Chat. Because your encryption keys reside only in your local browser sandbox, we cannot recover lost conversations, restore forgotten keys, or bypass room access restrictions on your behalf.
5. Disclaimer of Warranties
Twosome Chat is provided on an "AS IS" and "AS AVAILABLE" basis without warranties of any kind, whether express or implied. We do not warrant that the service will be uninterrupted, error-free, completely immune to hardware-level compromise, or compatible with obsolete web browsers.
Peer-to-peer WebRTC video and voice call quality depends entirely on your network connection, bandwidth, device capabilities, and local firewall or NAT configurations.
6. Limitation of Liability
To the maximum extent permitted by applicable law, Twosome Chat, its developers, operators, and affiliates shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages resulting from your use of or inability to use the service, including data loss or device damage.
7. Modifications to Service and Terms
We reserve the right to modify or discontinue features of Twosome Chat with or without notice. We may update these Terms periodically, and your continued use following updates constitutes your acceptance of the revised terms.
